Job summary for the general worker:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker the job requires a medically fit individual, reliable transport, ability to handle heavy equipment, self-motivation, excellent communication, and organizational skills. The general worker responsibilities include stock boxing, loading, and offloading trucks, general housekeeping, environment maintenance, notifying building management, warehousing, and delivery, following the supervisor’s instructions, and cleaning trucks when the driver is on leave. In addition this opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker the job needs a reliable candidate. The ability to handle heavy equipment, self-motivation, excellent communication, and organizational skills will be an advantage.
Minimum Requirements:
- Medically fit.
Reliable.
Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements are adhered to.
I am prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Clean criminal record.
Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours.
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
Excellent organizational skills are a must -
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in boxing of stock, and loading and offloading of trucks.
General housekeeping.
They are maintained when the driver is on leave. - Cleaning of trucks. the environment.
Notify building management of any repairs required. - Assist in Warehousing and Delivery.
Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from the Supervisor.
Assist when the driver is on leave - Cleaning of trucks
